I have to admit I have not seen many Korean movies at all, but some that I like are:
Oldboy / 올드보이 (2003)
I feel like this is a classic..? I like it. It got a lot of praise from critics. It's a mystery thriller.
Sunny / 써니 (2011)
This movie is quite different from Oldboy. It's nice! It's about a group of friends.
Speedy Scandal / 과속스캔들 (2008)
I had to watch this for homework last year. Also a fun movie.
It's possible that some of these are available on YouTube with English subtitles.
Another popular movie is My Sassy Girl / 엽기적인 그녀 (2001).
